PURE SAFETY GROUP ANNOUNCES NEW BRAND STRATEGY AMID RECORD-SETTING YEARS OF GROWTH

Brand alignment to customer needs allows company to strategically scale its innovation, product portfolio and global reach for the future

HOUSTON (Sept. 6, 2019) – Pure Safety Group (PSG) entered the safety industry in 2017 through a rapid succession of acquisitions and integration of four fall protection manufacturers.  In just 12 months, it built a family of brands that includes Guardian, Checkmate, Stronghold, Web Devices and Norguard, a vast portfolio of more than 5,000 products, 160 patents, and a new corporate headquarters and training center in Houston. It also jump-started an aggressive innovation plan that resulted in the launch of 10 new products in the first half of 2019.

PICCIONE CEOHOUSTON (August 19, 2019) Pure Safety Group (PSG), the world’s largest independent height safety product development, manufacturing and training company, today announced it has named Joseph Piccione as chief executive officer, effective immediately. Piccione’s start date with the company will be August 19.

“Joe’s track record of growing companies internationally and leading teams to consistent results with a keen focus on the customer are key as PSG continues its international expansion and innovation trajectory,” said Kevin Coplan, chairperson of the PSG board of directors.

GUARDIAN LAUNCHES HTL HORIZONTAL LIFELINE FOR FALL PROTECTION

HOUSTON (August 14, 2019 – Guardian Fall Protection, a Pure Safety Group (PSG) company, has unveiled its new HTL Horizontal Lifeline (HLL) for use in fall protection systems. The horizontal anchorage accommodates two workers in fall arrest at 30-, 60- and 100-foot lengths.

The HLL is ultra-lightweight and extremely durable. Due to the double-braided polyester rope functioning as the shock absorber, no inline shock absorber is required. Its built-in, inline tension swivel prevents tangling and keeps the HLL in an optimal position. It features nylon thimbles that protect the rope against wear and prevents loops. The HTL’s lower dynamic sag provides exceptional fall clearances.

PURE SAFETY GROUP UNVEILS LATEST SELF-RETRACTING LIFELINES

HOUSTON (Apr. 22, 2019) -- Pure Safety Group (PSG), the largest company dedicated solely to fall protection, has unveiled a new lineup of three self-retracting lifelines (SRLs). The SRLs are part of the company’s robust schedule of new product launches in 2019, during which it will release more than 20 new products for keeping workers at height safe in construction, oil and gas, energy, utilities, telecom, mining and transportation situations. The SRLs, which meet OSHA standards, exceed ANSI standards and will be CSA-certified, include the GR11, GR6 and GR6 Tie-Back, all under the company’s Guardian Fall Protection brand. The SRLs feature HPME webbing, which is lightweight and highly resistant to cuts and abrasion. The SRLs are designed for use in personal fall arrest and restraint applications, which prevent workers from reaching the leading edge of a fall hazard.

The Guardian GR11 SRL has a capacity of 11 feet and maximum arrest force of https://www.guardianfall.com/1,800 pounds. It features durable housing that protects its internal assembly, rubber housing grips for comfort, ergonomic handling and impact resistance, an external shock absorber designed to minimize arrest forces, and multiple snap, rebar hook options that are made of steel or aluminum. The GR11 user capacity is 130-310 pounds.

First in the S Series Now Available for Everyday Fall Protection

HOUSTON (Jan. 07, 2019) – Pure Safety Group (PSG), the largest company dedicated solely to fall protection, has unveiled its Guardian Fall Protection S1 safety harness. The S1 is the first in a series of innovative new harnesses designed with three levels of features for various real life work scenarios. All harnesses meet OSHA standards, exceed ANSI standards and are CSA-certified.

The S1 Harness is a rugged utility option for users who need to grab their fall protection gear and safely get to work. It is designed with water-resistant contrasting core webbing, label cover and impact indicators for easy inspection, dual lanyard keepers and durable rubber web keepers. The S1 features steel hardware that includes a three-bar torso adjustment for quick and proper fitting, various connection point options for use in multiple applications, and a chest strap captivation for performance. The S1 Harness is available in four sizes for optimal fit.

Scot McLean to Lead National Accounts

HOUSTON (Jan. 07, 2019) – Pure Safety Group (PSG), the largest company dedicated solely to fall protection, has added safety industry veteran Scot McLean to its leadership team. McLean will become vice president of national accounts at PSG, effective Jan. 2. In this role, he will work closely with the company’s largest customers and distributors in the construction, oil and gas, energy, utilities, telecom, mining and transportation industries.

McLean has 40 years of safety industry experience, including in fall protection. “Scot is a highly accomplished business leader with an outstanding reputation and record for building businesses,” said PSG Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Tony Coco. “We’re privileged to have a leader of his caliber joining the PSG team.”

PSG Unveils Experiential Learning Program at New Facility

HOUSTON (Oct. 22, 2018) The world’s largest provider dedicated to height safety equipment and services Pure Safety Group (PSG), has opened the doors to its 33,000-square-foot corporate headquarters office and global training facility this month in conjunction with the National Safety Congress (NSC) in Houston, Texas.

The office is home to the U.S. PSG leadership team. The training facility, the largest dedicated to height safety in the industry, features the new PSG training program, the most current curriculum in the industry that includes simulations on 12 structures in a 22,000-square-foot indoor environment for hands-on, realtime application of classroom learning. The training incorporates OSHA and ANSI standards information, which is aligned with PSG’s recent commitment to 100 percent compliance with ANSI voluntary standards in the manufacture of its products. Students graduate from the program as certified competent persons for job site inspections and authorizations of fall safety equipment. The Houston training facility is in addition to the company’s U.K.-based training program, which it acquired as part of the PSG purchase of Checkmate Lifting & Safety company in June 2018.
